To connect to Brother Online, your device must be connected to a network with internet access. - Connection Status
- The Brother Online connection status is shown.
- Name resolution failed: There was a problem trying to connect to the internet. Please check the device is connected to the network correctly and has the correct DNS settings.
- Unable to reach the internet: Please check the network connection, the device date and time and if your network has a proxy server, please check the proxy settings.
- Registration Status
- The Brother Online registration status is shown.
- Registered: The device registration has been completed.
- Unregisterd: The device registration has not been completed yet.
- Date&Time
- The present date and time setting is displayed. The date and time must be set correctly.
- Not set: The date and time has not been configured yet. To connect to Brother Online the date and time must be correctly configured.
- PIN Code
- Please enter the PIN code that is necessary for registration of the device. If the PIN has already been set, "Set" is displayed.
- Proxy Settings (Optional)
- Please configure the proxy settings if your network is using a proxy server.
